| Medium Training Blades
I
personally feel that medium training blades play an important
role in both training and fighting. Medium ranged weapons
have a length/reach advantage over knives or small bladed
weapons. When dealing with a longer ranged weapon such as
a sword, medium ranged blades excel at close quarter combat
being more maneuverable than a sword is.
All handles are double wrapped
in 3MM paracording. This helps create a very comfortable
grip that is durable and more importantly, it doesn't feel like
you're holding on to just a piece of metal that some other
training blades are known for. Handles come in a choice of
colors of either Black, Red,
Dark Green,
Blue,
or Purple.
Other handle colors can be made available upon request.

Ghurka Kukri:
The Ghurka Kukri trainer is based off of the most
widely known and used design of the Kukri knife. It's unique
design makes the blade a very powerful chopping blade that in essence
helps to keep what it's cutting in contact with the blade longer than a
typical straight blade knife would. This results in deeper cuts
with whatever it makes contact with. The reason for the price
difference from the Kukri Trainer above is that I have to use a very
special (and rather expensive) stock metal in order to get the curvature
right. The price difference is only reflected in the actual cost
of material.

Ghurka
Kukri 2:
The Ghurka Kukri 2 is a modern version of the
classical and very widely known Kukri design. While maintaining
the curvature of the blade that allows for powerful chopping strikes,
this version of the Kukri is designed along the lines of modern
principles of knife fighting tactics. This trainer is
similar to the Ghurka Kukri that can be found on the Cold Steel
web site.

Barong:
The Barong is a blade that is designed very
similar to that of a leaf actually. However when in the
hands of someone that knows how to use it, even a small wrist
movement can make a large difference in the distance covered by
the blade. This is caused by the curvature inside the
handle itself and why the curved handle is such a necessity.

Lite
Barong:
The Lite Barong is very similar to our normal Barong
with the exception of being thinner and lighter. It is actually
based off of an authentic Filipino Barong. It has the same
curvature in the handle which allows for it to be extremely deceptive in
it's movements where a small flick of the wrist can allow it to cover a
greater distance than most people would expect.

Talibong:
The
Talibong training blade is a very interesting trainer.
Based off of an authentic Filipino/Indonesian
sword, the Talibong has many great features to it's design. The
Talibong can be used for hacking, slashing, and thrusting techniques.
While much thinner and therefore lighter than the average Barong, it can
still be employed as a chopper as well. The curvature of the blade
itself also assists with keeping in contact with whatever it is
'cutting' therefore resulting in deeper cuts if the real version of the
blade was being used.

Daga Trainer:
This design came about at the request of many different people.
It is similar to the Filipino Dagger offered by Casiberia.
The Daga is designed to be used together with the Espada for
weapons/combat training. However as many people already have a
longer range blade, I thought I would offer it as a stand alone blade as
well. The finger guard is full length to help protect against
strikes to the hand. While the back thumb rest can be used for
pain compliance techniques that will often times catch an opponent off
guard. The butt end of the trainer can also be used for various
manipulations as well.

Double End Daga:
The Double End Daga is a traditional
Filipino weapon that creates a variety of unique tactics. No
matter what end of the trainer is close to an opponent, there is always
a blade edge available. This allows for thrusts and slashes from
anywhere without the user having to flip his or her wrist for blade
redirection.

across the country. The standard butcher knife. Patterned after this
common household item, this training blade is ready to assist with any
home invasion scenario that you and your training partners can cook up.

Outcast
Trainer:
Ok, I have a confession to make on this
knife. A person that I train with approached me with the
real version of this knife from a well known knife manufacturer
and asked me to make a training blade off of it for him. I
liked the design of the knife so much that I decided to make a
couple more of them as well. And now I offer them here.

The Hunted Tactical:
This design initially came about at the request of a custom order.
The knife used in the movie "The Hunted" was the Tom Brown Tracker.
It's a great survival knife that is just fearsome to come across.
While it was originally created to be a survival knife, the blade has
many tactical options as well. From the ridge above the thumb
which can be used for pain compliance techniques, a butt-end which can
be employed as a skull crusher, to the niche that can assist with
blade disarms, to the recessed blade edge which can be used to 'grab'
onto clothing or an opponent, this blade design opens the doors to many
tactical applications. This trainer has been accurately created to
be similar to the Tom Brown Tracker. We honestly
believe that this will become one of your favorite training blades to
use.

Bowie:
This design is based off of the
traditional bowie knife that is well known throughout American history.
Oftentimes this blade is symbolic with man's struggle for peace,
freedom, security, and adventure. This is a full sized knife that
was made to be well suited for the outdoors. It can also be well
suited for use as a fighting knife because of the niche for controlling
an opponent's blade and the full handle guard.

Tomahawk
Trainer:
This is a weapon that is starting to see a lot more use
in the Special Forces since it can used as a normal tool and a highly
effective close combat tactical weapon. There are many versions of
the tomahawk out in the world however my version of the tomahawk is
similar to the American Tomahawk Company's CQC-T Tomahawk.

Butterfly Swords (Pair):
The Bat Jum Dao or Wing Chun Butterfly Swords are based off of the
traditional Chinese weapon. This specific design comes from the
Red Boat era of swords. This was a time that the swords were
merged into the Wing Chun system for battle against the Manchurian
soldiers of that era.
Unlike other training versions of the Butterfly Swords that were
designed for balance in practice. This version was kept true to
the proven design for actual fighting.
